Welcome to Nakaracia Farm

Nakaracia Farm is a family run farm, with the main farmer being Manoa Tasere. Manoa has worked on the land since he was a child. The farm is located just outside of Loma Settlement.

Monoa continues to work at Nakaracia Farm to ensure there is enough food to supply others who do not have enough. In his own way, he is fighting to meet the United Nation’s zero hunger sustainable development goal (SDG2).

As with most farmers, the biggest challenge for Manoa is growing crops in difficult climates and in response to new plant diseases. He is constantly adapting and changing his practices to overcome these challenges as best he can.

The second biggest challenge is being able to sell produce at a competitive price, whilst still ensuring he is making a profit. This is why Manoa strives to grow the highest quality produce he can. Despite this, Manoa is most excited to start selling his produce to hotels and local markets.
